Hall (our current President) applied the company’s engineering and manufacturing expertise in custom graphics to launch into the hi-tech field of printed circuit boards and aviation screen printed lenses. The Hall Company then provided items for many critical military applications that included the Gemini and Apollo space missions.

In 1980, as the need for low voltage, electronic switch systems became apparent, The Hall Company moved into the membrane switch assembly market; securing a basic patent for polydomes (a product which is in use in many membrane switch assemblies today).

What started as a small, region-specific company located in Urbana, Ohio, has emerged as a leader in the international market of quality membrane switch assemblies, and product identification products.
